IDEA Pharma expands its European headquarters

As IDEA Pharma widens its net across Europe, business is booming as the ‘IDEA house’ continues to help companies achieve productive innovation and better path-to-market options for their molecules. IDEA welcomes the recent appointments of Suzanne Axford-Bryars and Lidia Markovic as Project Managers to the team.

Starting life out working as a molecular biologist for Novartis, Suzanne moved into medical writing before making the transition to account management. With10 years’ experience in consultancy, Suzanne specialised in directing brand portfolios for big Pharma clients. Having previously worked for IDEA, Suzanne left to experience working in Italy for a medical education and healthcare advertising firm. Commenting on her return to IDEA, Suzanne said: “IDEA has always struck a chord that resonated with me. Having worked in several consultancies across our industry, the methods adopted in the main were process driven, standardised and often lacked creativity and imagination. IDEA’s approach to strategic differentiation for its clients falls into a completely different realm. IDEA doesn’t function as a consultancy; it operates differently in every way, from creative thinking, its ethos, and the people it employs, through to how the company interacts with its client base… which is something that I really missed. Innovation happens organically and ideas are born from a shared passion in changing how the industry currently operates.”

Lidia joins IDEA from Movianto UK (part of the Celesio Group), the healthcare and pharmaceutical distribution specialists, where she acted as key account manager, responsible for Top Ten Pharma clients including Pfizer and Bayer. With 8 years’ project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry at product delivery and distribution level, she now wants to work at the other end of the spectrum, helping to push new molecules into exciting areas of opportunity.

“Pharma is such a diverse industry of opportunity… and IDEA is a company that really offers diverse challenges every day. I look forward to continuing to build key relationships with IDEA’s growing client base and broadening my knowledge further. The team at IDEA is fantastic and all share the same outlook at changing standardised industry behaviour. I am delighted to be part of the movement,” said Lidia.

“Our standing in Europe is getting stronger day-by-day, which means more companies are asking us to help redefine their innovation processes. With more and more new clients joining us each week, I am delighted to have both Lidia and Suzanne on board… their skill set with be invaluable in helping us to deliver transformational solutions to our clients,” concludes Mike Rea, CEO.
