As the ‘IDEA revolution’ continues to make waves within Pharma, more and more companies are engaging IDEA Pharma to maximise the potential of their Phase II portfolios. The company has seen a surge of like-minded people wanting to challenge stale, anti-innovation industry practices and join the fold. IDEA Pharma is delighted to announce the recent appointments of Louisa Roberts as Account Director and Ralph Torbay as Researcher / Project Manager.
Louisa joins from IBM Consulting, and has over seven years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working along the Pharma value chain, from R&D through to Sales and Marketing. Working on both the client side for GSK and Sanofi, and on the service side as an external strategist, Louisa has project managed and delivered a variety of strategic programmes including business case modelling, process improvement, and merger integration. At IDEA, Louisa is responsible for directing all project management activities, delivery, and managing the value clients can derive from the company.
Commenting on her new role, Louisa said: “I really believe that IDEA is a company leading the charge at pushing brand teams out of their comfort zones and really propelling their molecules into prime, innovative positions where they will enjoy success post launch. Treating each molecule as a unique entity and getting the strategy that feeds it right early on, is absolutely crucial in determining its success… and IDEA really knows how to deliver this, every time! It is great to be part of such a dynamic group of people.”
Obtaining a strong international foothold within Pharma, Ralph joins the IDEA ranks straight from Novartis’s oncology division, where he worked as a project manager. With five years’ industry experience, Ralph’s background stems from biotechnology, market research and finance, and has provided him with a solid base to understand and tackle the industry's ever evolving challenges. Ralph will be responsible for managing the US division’s expanding project portfolio alongside Louisa.
