In 2025, the company accelerated innovative drug development in its two priority areas of neuroscience and oncology, and its proprietary technology platforms, including multispecific antibodies and ADCs, began to generate candidate assets with international partnering value. Building on its product portfolio in areas of strength and its presence in cutting-edge technologies, Simcere is cultivating more proprietary R&D outputs beyond its established innovative drug business.

Simcere's track record in innovative drug commercialization and in-house R&D is reflected both in the operating performance of its marketed products and in its sustained R&D investment and translation of innovation. In 2025, the company recorded operating revenue of RMB 7.73 billion, up 16.5% YoY, with innovative drugs accounting for 81.5% of revenue and serving as a key driver of growth. R&D investment for the period was RMB 2.08 billion, rising to 26.8% of operating revenue. Supported by its innovation centers in Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing and Boston and a State Key Laboratory, the company has built R&D platforms covering protein engineering, multispecific antibodies, ADCs and other fields.
