GSK

Latest Rankings

GSK climbs 10 places to fourth on the 2026 Global Pharmaceutical Innovation Index, its strongest position in recent years. The company also rises four places to fourth on the Invention Index. These improvements reflect a year in which GSK’s strategic shift towards specialty medicines, oncology, respiratory disease and vaccines has translated into both financial performance and regulatory output.

Full-year sales have grown to $44.4 billion, up 7% at constant exchange rates, with specialty medicines up 17%, respiratory, immunology and inflammation up 18%, oncology up 43%, and HIV up 11%. This broad-based performance supports the company’s improved position on both indexes.

A key driver of GSK’s performance has been renewed strength in oncology. Blenrep (belantamab mafodotin) has returned to major markets in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, with approvals in the UK, EU, US and Japan following positive DREAMM-7 and DREAMM-8 data. Jemperli (dostarlimab) has also received EC approval for first-line advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer, including mismatch repair proficient tumors, broadening its relevance to a larger patient population.
